Our Sustainability Goals
As a part of our commitment to a sustainable society, Aspen API contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). We have identified SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being, 5 Gender Equality, 12 Responsible Consumption and Production and 13 Climate Action of which we believe we impact the most.
Sustainability has three pillars, Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) and we have defined the following goals for each pillar.
Environment
Our environmental goals are centered around reducing our footprint and fulfilling a responsible role in society. We want to focus on long-term goals such as minimizing our CO2-footprint and transitioning to circular production. In 2030 Aspen Oss wants to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions with 59% compared to 2014. In order to reach the long-term goals, we are also committed to reducing water and raw materials consumption and the re-use of waste. Determining and reducing the footprint in the value chain is also an important topic for us.
Social
We offer a safe and healthy place to work for our employees, a fair pay, excellent training and education and equal opportunities for all. We want to develop ourselves with respect to diversity and inclusion within our workforce and throughout the value chain.
Governance
Our corporate culture is well developed: rules for ethics, business integrity and anti-bribery are clearly defined, implemented, and complied with. Our commitment to business continuity is unwavering, and we are taking steps to establish a governance structure to oversee these aspects within our value chain.
